Shopify Marketing Expert
Shopify marketing that ties every ad to a real order.
Google Ads, Meta Ads and tracking for Shopify stores, from someone who works inside Shopify’s own reports, analytics and apps, not just the ad platforms.
What does a Shopify marketing expert do?
A Shopify marketing expert connects the store to the ad platforms properly, runs Google Ads and Meta Ads around the store’s products and margins, and uses Shopify’s own reports to check what the ads really produce. Every ad decision is judged by the orders Shopify actually records.

Sound familiar?
The problems Shopify store owners bring to me most often, and what I do about each one.
The problem
“Shopify, Google and Meta all report different sales.”
Each platform uses its own attribution, and missing or duplicate events widen the gap.
How I fix it
One source of truth
Ad platform results are reconciled with Shopify’s sales reports, and the differences are explained rather than ignored.
The problem
“Our Merchant Center feed keeps getting disapprovals.”
The default product sync often misses attributes Google needs, or carries titles written for the store.
How I fix it
A feed built for search
Titles, attributes and identifiers fixed at the source or with feed rules, so Shopping and Performance Max show the right products.
The problem
“We installed three tracking apps and now nothing adds up.”
Overlapping pixels and apps fire duplicate purchases.
How I fix it
A clean tracking setup
One clear setup for GA4, Google Ads conversions and the Meta pixel with Conversions API, using Shopify’s native channels where they do the job.
The problem
“We do not know which products are worth advertising.”
Ads often push best sellers by revenue, not by margin.
How I fix it
Ads built around margin
Products grouped by margin and performance with custom labels, so budget goes where the profit is.
The problem
“Ad traffic lands but does not convert.”
Product pages and checkout carry friction that ads cannot fix.
How I fix it
Store-side CRO
Product page, offer and checkout improvements guided by Shopify’s conversion reports.
What I work with inside Shopify
The store side of paid media that most ad specialists never open.
Shopify analytics and reports
Sales by channel, the conversion funnel, sessions by referrer and product performance, used to check what ads really produce.
Google & YouTube channel
Product sync to Merchant Center and conversion setup, with feed fixes where the default sync falls short.
Meta channel and Conversions API
Catalog sync and server-side purchase events, so Meta sees orders that browsers hide.
Tracking and attribution apps
Chosen and configured so they do not duplicate each other.
Discounts and offers
Codes and promotions tracked so they can be judged on profit, not just volume.
Product pages and checkout
Friction points found in the reports, then fixed and measured.

Who this is for
An honest filter, so we both save time.
A good fit if
- You run a Shopify store and advertise on Google, Meta or both
- Your ad numbers do not match Shopify's sales reports
- You want ads judged on orders and margin
- You can share Shopify, Google Ads, Meta and GA4 access
Probably not a fit if
- You want ads run without access to store data
- You need results guaranteed before an audit
- You want the cheapest possible management fee
- You are not able to change apps or tracking on the store
Questions about Shopify marketing
Do you only work with Shopify stores?
No, but Shopify is a platform I know well, including its reports, analytics and apps.
Should I use Shopify's Google & YouTube app for my product feed?
It is a good starting point. Many stores then need feed rules or a supplemental feed for titles and attributes the default sync does not handle well.
How do you set up the Meta Conversions API on Shopify?
Usually through Shopify’s Meta channel with the highest data-sharing setting, then checked for duplicate events and against Shopify orders.
Why do Shopify and Google Ads show different sales?
They use different attribution models and windows, and conversions can be missing or duplicated. I reconcile them and report against Shopify’s numbers.
Can you improve my Shopify conversion rate?
Yes, through product page, offer and checkout changes, measured in Shopify’s reports.
Do you run both Google Ads and Meta Ads for Shopify stores?
Yes. Most stores benefit from both: Meta to create demand and Google to capture it.
